We had a week here as a group of nine, and we had a good time. Location wise, the hotel is only 20 -30 mins from the airport via coach but be aware it is up a very steep hill, so be cautious booking if you have mobility issues or very young children. You are about a 10-15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and 10 mins from aqualand. Word of warning, the shop next door to the hotel is very expensive. Check in was straight forward and quick, reception is bright and spacious and staff were helpful, we managed to get a late checkout on our last day and it was €30 for 5 hours. There’s a small arcade just beneath reception to keep the kids entertained. The rooms are basic as were cooking facilities, fridge, hob, microwave, toaster but it was clean, no air conditioning but a fan in the bedroom ( just blows warm air around). We had a good size balcony with a sea view. Rooms were cleaned every other day and bedding and towels replaced as well. The surrounding areas around the rooms is clean and there’s plenty of bins for rubbish. The cleaners all spoke and said hello. The pool area is a good size and clean, but does have some damaged tiles, these were cordoned off though. Peak season and you could always get a lounger and parasol no matter what time of the day. Life guard on duty everyday and there is shade next to the pool bar if needed. The pool is 1.7m deep at its deepest and slopes off quite quickly but there’s plenty of shallow water. The bar for evening entertainment is a decent size with plenty of outdoor space, the entertainment is ok but a bit repetitive. There was only one bar man serving when we were there, so it can take awhile to get a drink and you are limited to two drinks at a time which are in paper cups. It did get a bit boisterous and noisy later at night due to the groups of younger (18 -25 year olds), with the police having to be called one night Food was ok, repetive and basic, first night we went down at 8pm and there was next to nothing left to eat, and wasn’t being replaced. We started going down at 7pm and there was no issues so would advise going to eat earlier. Restaurant hours are Breakfast 7-30 -1030 Lunch 1300 - 1500 Dinner 1800 - 2100 Not a single member of staff in the restaurant acknowledged you as they walked past. All in all, it’s a basic hotel in need of a bit of modernisation but you get what you pay for. Yes you are going to get cockroaches ( it’s a hot country), yes there no air con, yes there bits of damage to various bits and pieces but it serves it purpose as a holiday base and yes I would go back.
the place is amazing it has amazing activities to do on a day to day amazing pool & is overall fantastic.
We have only just got here and so far so good we have come here a lot over the last 8 years never no complaints you know what your getting when you book and once again we are having a great time
