How to find the cheapest last-minute deals or lowest-priced trips for any time of year

On this page you will find travel deals and last-minute trips to destinations where we package ready-made holidays. Tips for finding an affordable holiday or last-minute deal

1. Flight prices in particular change according to how full the flight is. The fewer seats remain, the more expensive the last seats are sold for. Book well in advance — prices rarely drop.
2. The cheapest package holidays are booked more than 6 months before departure. Less than 2 months before travel, prices and hotel availability (especially for popular holiday periods) are already limited and flight prices are high.
3. If possible, avoid the most popular Finnish holiday periods and Central European summer holiday weeks, when prices are usually at their highest. If you cannot travel at another time, still book well in advance (>6 months before travel) — you may still get a ski holiday, Easter or summer holiday at a good price.
4. Choose a weekday departure. Weekend departures are often more expensive because everyone wants to schedule holidays from Saturday to Saturday, Sunday to Sunday, or Friday to Monday. Especially during school holiday weeks, weekend departures are relatively much more expensive than midweek departures.
