It's difficult to know where to start to get across how lovely this hotel is! Without doubt, the Crystal Bay has some of the best staff that we have ever come across!! Efficient, friendly, helpful, always smiling. Unobtrusive but always there. The staff make this superb hotel a very inviting and relaxing place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and so cleverly designed that even when 97% full we were never subjected to queues or crowds - much of the time we felt like part of only a handful of guests. Food is superb, the Manohar Indian and the Managar BBQ were favourites. No problem booking restaurants - 6 a la carte with no charge and 1 excellent buffet - thoroughly spoilt for choice and no restrictions on number of times in a particular restaurant - we could have had 14 dinners in the Manohar!! . Our room 240, was superb. On the first floor, with a balcony, close to the beach, very quiet and excellent house keeping by Mohammed. The grounds and gardens are kept quietly pristine and really beautiful. From booking with Amy at Tui in Tunbridge Wells, the flight, transfer and rep on site, Ally, everything worked as one would hope but very rarely happens!!! The private bay which is vendor free witha graduall walk into the sea. Beach and swimming pool areas had ample sunbeds and umbrellas and were all immaculate. All in all - a perfect holiday.

This was our 3rd visit to crystal bay which we upgraded to a swim up room. The hotel is immaculate from the moment you check in to every aspect of the hotel. Restaurants catered for our every need even had a meal cooked by the executive chef which was delicious. The staff are excellent and very friendly and attentive to your every need. We had the pleasure of a butler named Mina who’s knowledge of everything we needed was greatly appreciated 24hrs a day nothing was ever to much trouble always happy to help 10 out of 10 Hager was also very helpful from checking in and again always on hand when needed 10 out of 10 also. After booking this hotel I was a little worried that there would not be enough to entertain my 2 children, 3 and 6. However, we had booked a swim up family room and the pool was enough to entertain them! We did not participate in day activities as the children were too young, the evening entertainment is very low key, the evening kids club was disappointing (as English visitors, a lot of the songs were in German) it was just an entertainer on the stage with children singing songs, we visited once and that was enough. The hotel though, is beautiful. The grounds are kept pristine and there are always gardeners around tidying or cutting the trees. We did not get bitten once by mosquitoes, my husband had an upset tummy but out of our party, he was the only one who didn't take pro-biotics leading up to the holiday! The staff are attentive and couldn't do enough for you. We did upgrade to posh club, our butler messaged daily and was only a message away. The different restaurants are a plus and you can use them as often as you like, we used the bbq twice in our stay. The hotel vibe is very relaxed, we enjoyed it that much we have booked to come back in March - only 6 months after our first visit!
