2 week stay from 23rd Sept -7th Oct After mixd reviews before booking i wasent sure what to expect. We arrived at 1130 am cheakd in quickly and were able to use the all inclusive straight away their was a lockd room to store luggage .Hotel is clean and tidy reception are friendly and helpful i had bookd a superior room with pool veiw I emaild to ask could we have a lowish floor this was done. We got in our room at 330 lovely room fridge big bathroom and large walk in shower. Kettle and coffee machine. Bottle of water left every day clean towels daily ,safe in room we never usd it so not sure if theirs a charge for it.air con in room not the best but does help I dont think be great in peak season. Lifts can be a pain waiting but we were on 2nd floor so stairs were fine we came down straight at restaurant. Plenty of sun bed and parasols but sun beds ard stackd quite high not easy to get down . Food was nice my husband is fussy but he ate well we did go out and eat a few times the hotel is situated right by all the shops bars .self service for soft drinks lager wine and water few cocktails to choose from and good selection of spirits.bags of crisps given at bar nuts from a large pot in small cups . Entertainment ok on every night at 10pm outside their is a big room if it rains for Entertainment it gets very busy . Pepes opens at 9pm till 1 and some Entertainment in their at 11pm all inclusive finishes at 12 but you can buy drinks after and are reasonably priced . Overall we had a great stay. We visited chamber of secrets a magic illustusionist show well worth it. And minnellis a drag show again worth a visit both great shows. We will definitely return to the hotel .
We had an eight night stay, although the public places were ok, the room wasn’t the superior room we paid for. The floor was badly laid either gaps between the boards, toilet leaked, the soap dispenser fell off the wall. The hotel was a bit tired. It was a bit of a trip to the beach, although the local town wasn’t too far. 75% of the staff were friendly, but the others were sullen and not friendly. Overall the drink were ok, but the cocktails were too sweet and over powered with saccharine. The food was ok, plenty of choice and availability, but the glasses & plates were not replenished much. In our reckoning it was only 3 star, not 4.
Seriously. Don't waste your money...it was just awful. Only positive was the laundry room and the Food was great and tasty. Lots of choices. otherwise it was ,zero stars. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel..ot was a 2star if anything. Definitely not 4. My bathroom was not fit for any human. I couldn't fit in only sideways and that was a struggle. Bathroom was like something from the 80s. They said they had no other room to move me to that day..I was only staying 4 nights thankfully so I just left it because it seemed too much of an effort at reception. I think the hotel prefers Spanish guests. I was feeling dismissed. MyRoom was so basic. Pool area was like a concrete jungle and it seemed tense as people were out early waiting on the sunbeds to be unlocked at 9am. People sat around the pool from 7am trying to get a spot. Not enough space around the pool. Everyone was on top of each other. Worst I have ever experienced. The sun was gone from most of the pool by about 3pm.... There was a solarium on 8th floor. Awful area. Probably fine if you just want to sunbathe and close your eyes. No atmosphere..no pool up there. Just beds and a dirty area to pour your own drink. No bathroom either so you have to go to the 1st floor or your room. The lift's were ancient.. scary. I told the lifeguard one morning at 10am that there was a broken glass on the steps beside him, under the bar table and beside the steps leading into the pool. I checked he spoke English before I mentioned it. He said he would move it. He continued to put on his suncream, then he ate his sandwich. 10 mintues later I then went inside to ask the bar staff to help. I was terrified a child or anyone would stand on it. Especially as it was in the area of the steps into the pool so people would be barefoot. No point in having a lifeguard sitting there with his first aid box if he wasn't willing to remove the glass. I ended up picking up the larger pieces of glass with the bar staff as she sweep the ground. I noticed about 20 mins later another woman point out the glass in the area that was missed.. I know it wasn't their fault it was there because no glasses are served in that area so it was obviously there from the night before if a guest dropped it. One good thing. The food was good despite the area been a strange layout and again people on top of each other and you have to squeeze and manoeuvre in between tables. The other restaurant can be booked. I tried it once. Nice food but meat was as tough as a boot. I personally would not return to this hotel if I got it for free. I'm not a complainer. I'm a former hotel receptionist. I have listened to petty complaints but seriously don't waste your money on this place. Thankfully I was moving to another hotel for the last few days. It wasn't a huge difference in price but it was amazing and a proper 4 star..
