We stayed here in August as a family of 4. Our children are 12 and 14.overall a very good holiday. Pros The staff were all friendly and courteous- everywhere in the hotel. THe food was of a high standard for a buffet restaurant , fresh, new items daily including smoked salmon, steak and king prawns. The hotel was clean Daily activities - good mix for all ages Most rooms have a pool or sea view depending on how high up you are. Facilities good- gym, indoor pool and fab shower room for late flights Good room air con Cons These are only slight cons and did not in a way really affect our holiday! We have a family room with 2 double beds- on the smaller side of what to be expected with limited clothes storage for 4 people. The room decor look a bit dated and could do with a refresh. It was clean. Pool is on the smaller side for the number of rooms- check photos and gets deep very quickly- some people would prefer this. EVening entertainment- we watched this for 3 nights in a row and although it was OK it was 3 different people singing songs- more variance needed although like I say we only watched 3 nights. Location good. Short stroll to the livelier areas of Santa susannah. Train station to Barcelona 5-10 mins walk-we really enjoyed this day out. Beach a few mins walk. Note the beach has larger grains of sand but not pebbles. Lifeguards on duty. We booked transfers with costa brava taxis - about 30 mins off peak and 140 euros. Timely and courteous. Would recommend.

The rooms in this hotel are outdated, but we were fortunate enough to have had a larger room with 2 double beds which was spacious, compared to others in our party of 3 adults in a tiny room! The food is average at best, repetitive and quite bland. The 2 mains issues with this hotel were the service from bar staff and smoking.this hotel is not suited for British people. The bar staff at this hotel were so rude, everything was hassle for them. Shouting at you when you stand in the wrong place to order a drink. Terrible service, not polite at all and I just dont think they like the British! If you have children or don’t like the smell of cigarettes, stay away from this hotel. In the evening especially, the amount of people smoking right next to children without any consideration was terrible - constant wafts of smoke made us not enjoy the shows in the evening and we went back to our rooms stinking of smoke! As for the shows… if you are going to mime Michael Jackson songs, atleast mime the right words haha
