Stayed for a special occasion, on arrival reception staff absolutely superb, very helpful and friendly. Room was deluxe sea view and clean, tidy but he careful floors extremely slippery and shower is too. Service throughout hotel was generally poor, lobby bar was worst, the team have no idea what their doing, had to wait 45 minutes for anyone to even take our food order, and that's when we went to ask. Tables not cleaned and very unorganised in general. Food once we got it was very nice though. Breakfast good selection, lady clearing tables nearest the hot food was lovely, very helpful in helping us find an empty table. Maltese restaurant The Bay Room was awful, food overcooked, burnt dessert and service the worst we've ever had in any restaurant, from the rude waiter when we asked about the tasting menu to service during our meal. Pool bar food and staff were lovely, very friendly and food good quality. Entertainment was very poor, advertised on their website and Facebook page it looked great but unfortunately it was Anna and Freddie every night and was diar. Its obvious as loads of empty tables every night and main conversation round the pool was how bad the entertainment is. Unfortunately after first few days we had issues with our room service, even though I left the PLEASE SERVICE ROOM CARD on our door, we came back from day out to have no towels, not great when we wanted to get showered to go out, had to wait nearly an hour to get some!! I spoke to cleaner outside our room who said they'd bring them, after 20 minutes then phoned reception to be told on their way. After 45 minutes I ended up having to use my mobile to phone to actually speak to manager to finally get towels!! Finally an hour later we got them. It seems the longer your here the less the cleaners care, as finally after spending day at pool came back to find the card I know I left as usual on our door asking for our room to be cleaned, chucked on our bedroom floor and room not touched!!! I phoned reception and they sent someone to do our room and give us fresh towels, which to be fair was within half an hour. However he left the room soaking wet... and I slipped up as we were sat on balcony and had no idea the floor would be like an ice rink! This is definitely not the service you'd expect from a hotel of this class? It's such a shame as stunning location and could be wonderful if they could sort the service out. Couldn't fault reception, security and lady in breakfast though. Having been to hotels all over the world I'm afraid we were disappointed with this one.

Clean rooms, great service, gym, adults only.

Hotel was lovely, food was excellent, staff were very accommodating we had a fantastic holiday would definitely recommend, easy access to the bus stop so easy to get around, we travelled all over the island with no trouble and not far from the ferry to go over to Gozo
