Great hotel. Less than a 5 minute walk from the Central Train Station. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast reasonably priced. Huge selection of cereal, bread, meats, cheese, eggs, sausages fruit and yoghurt. Unlimited fruit juice, tea and coffee. Rooms very clean and have everything you need. Shower and toilet facilities spotlessly clean and always plenty of shower gel, shampoo and spare loo rolls. Towels are provided. Fan and blackout curtains help to keep the room cool. Yes it can be a little noisy at night but you are in the centre of the city so this is to be expected. Lidl a short walk for food and other essentials. Cooking facilities are adequate - small microwave, mini oven and electric hob.

Perfect bargain hotel in a great area. Rooms very clean and shared bathrooms always available and also clean. It is basic but Copenhagen is expensive so if you are looking for a bargain in a central location - the Annexe is just around the corner from the train station and Tivoli gardens so is ideal. It is part of the Absalon hotel which has a beautiful lobby and you can buy breakfast for £17. They do delicious coffee for £5. There is a kitchen too - we didn’t use it but it was in good state. The only drawback is the area is quite lively at night and there is a strip club nearby so might not suit young families. Loved our stay.

To start, I would highly recommend this as a budget option for groups travelling. A cross between a hostel and a hotel, sinks in each room, toilets very clean, and a shared kitchen where we met lots of friends. One of the staff on reception was rather rude, but this doesn’t bother us very much 🤣 We got a hairdryer upon asking. The only thing i would mention for solo female travellers is that the hotel is located near a “men’s home” (for homeless men). Nothing dangerous happened, but we had a few run ins with some dodgy characters and were followed by a few men in the area outside the hotel. It’s very close to the main station, so we would just run. We also saw a few prostitutes. Thankfully, the hostel is located inside a nice hotel so there is the safety of a 24/7 reception. Would probably return.
