Holidays 2026/2027: New Year, winter, spring and summer breaks
School holidays are the most sought-after dates of the year, and there is not much time left for Christmas and New Year. You can already book holidays for New Year, the February winter break, the spring break around Easter and summer 2027. Departures are from Zagreb and from airports that are easy to reach by car from Croatia: Ljubljana, Graz, Trieste, Venice, Treviso, Vienna and Budapest. On this page you will find the school holiday dates, the reasons why it pays to book early, and offers we checked for these dates on 10 October 2026.
Once you book, the price no longer changes. We book the flight and hotel as soon as you confirm the package. If flights or hotels become more expensive later, this does not affect your price.
Prices are low right now. Flights get more expensive as the plane fills up. This applies to all airlines, low-cost and scheduled. As a plane fills up, the cheaper seats disappear. Those who book early pay less.
Everyone travels during the school holidays. Families look for the same weeks, so the best hotels and cheaper flights for the school holidays fill up first. This is especially true for Christmas and New Year.
No inflated discounts. We do not promise discounts of up to 30% or similar figures. Our prices are low even without that, because we negotiate directly with hotels as part of the large Finnish Top 10 group. For the same hotel and date, a package with us is often several tens of euros cheaper, and for some packages 100 € or more.
When you book, you only pay a deposit, usually around 30% (depending on the package), and the rest one month before departure. You can also pay the deposit in interest-free instalments or by credit card.
No booking fee and no reservation costs. You pay the price of the package, nothing extra.
Departures from 8 nearby airports. Zagreb, Ljubljana, Graz, Trieste, Venice, Treviso, Vienna and Budapest. If there is no good flight from Zagreb for your dates, there often is one from an airport a few hours’ drive away, and at a lower price.
School holidays in the 2026/2027 school year
Winter break, first part: from 24 December 2026 to 5 January 2027. School starts on 7 January 2027, and 6 January is the Epiphany holiday.
Winter break, second part: from 22 to 26 February 2027, for all schools in Croatia.
Spring break: from 25 March to 2 April 2027. Easter is on 28 March 2027.
Summer break: starts on 16 June 2027. School ends on 15 June 2027, and on 21 May 2027 for final-year secondary students.
Long weekends in 2027: Corpus Christi is on Thursday 27 May, and Statehood Day on Sunday 30 May. Anti-Fascist Struggle Day is on Tuesday 22 June, and Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day on Thursday 5 August.

Spain: Costa del Sol with a direct flight from Zagreb on 28 December 2026
The direct flight from Zagreb to Málaga is on Monday 28 December 2026, returning on 4 January 2027, three days before school starts. You welcome the New Year in southern Spain, where it is often sunny even in January.

For the holidays, Zagreb has the most direct flights to the Costa del Sol (Málaga): on 28 December for New Year, in February and from the start of the summer holidays. In summer there is also a direct flight from Zagreb to Corfu. For Egypt, the Canary Islands, the Costa Brava, Rhodes and the Turkish Riviera, the best flights are from nearby airports. Ljubljana and Graz are about a two-hour drive from Zagreb, Trieste about three hours, and Venice, Treviso, Vienna and Budapest about four hours.
