We are very happy that we chose Grecotel Creta Palace, everything was perfect At first, we were not satisfied with the room, since I think, that there is part of hotel which is renovated and one which is not, and we are in the part which is not renovated, but we neglected that very fast, because everything else was on point: The view of the room, pool, beach, bars, food, staff( all of them who we have contact with), location, cleanliness, everything. At the beach, the sun lounges are not crowded, you have a lot of space and you can find place whenever you come At the pool, you have to come early, we usually come at 10 and it is already full Rooms are clean, location is good ( 10min ride with taxi which is 10e) All in all, despite some reviews, i do feel like im in luxury 5* resort and i would recommend Room 624, Thanks

We’ve had a fantastic stay at Grecotel Creta Palace, and what really stands out is how the hotel manages to feel like a proper Greek resort rather than simply a luxury hotel that happens to be in Greece. The décor and architecture are a particular highlight. There is a real sense of traditional Greek and Cretan style throughout the resort, and it feels authentic rather than manufactured or overly themed. The village-style areas, gardens and traditional touches give the whole place a wonderful character and genuine sense of place. The pools are stunning — beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and surrounded by lovely grounds. Combined with the beach, gardens and overall setting, there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the resort. The service has also been excellent. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming, which makes a huge difference. Nothing ever feels too much trouble, and there is a warmth to the service that suits the character of the hotel perfectly. The evening entertainment deserves a mention too. There is plenty going on without the resort losing its relaxed atmosphere, and the Greek and Cretan evenings are particularly enjoyable. They add to the feeling that you are actually experiencing Greece rather than staying in a generic international resort. Food has also been a highlight. One particular meal at King Minos really stood out — beautifully cooked Greek lamb chops, simply seasoned and grilled so that the flavour of the meat itself came through. Paired with a local Cretan Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend, it was an exceptional combination and a lovely example of how good Greek food can be when the ingredients are allowed to speak for themselves. Overall, Creta Palace has a wonderful balance: beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, genuinely good service, great entertainment and, importantly, a strong sense of Greek character. It feels relaxed, welcoming and authentic, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would happily return.
