This was our 1st visit to Rixos Sharm el Sheikh & we had read excellent reviews about it prior to booking. The transfer from the airport was fine, albeit longer than expected as other people had to be dropped off first. Check- in was quite smooth as there were only 7 of us on the coach. Our room was really great, spacious, clean & a good view. Booking of the restaurants was sometimes a challenge, but Guest Relations were helpful for this. All restaurants were very good and a great selection of food, the staff were always on hand to help and service was extremely efficient. The pool staff were amazing, shout out to Walid & the chap on roller skates delivering whatever you wanted. The buggy drivers - Romi and Aladdin were really welcoming and attentive - a credit to Rixos. The evening entertainment was really good, although the beach X Lounge shows are not as good as in the X arena, and the music was extremely loud and echoed right through the resort. There were a few rude people and fellow travellers will know who they are, just plain rude and obnoxious, no manners and no thought for other guests. Overall an excellent holiday and will possibly be back but a bit earlier in the year for slightly cooler temperatures!

This resort should be a 5 but I can’t give it because it lets itself down purely on the lack of ability to book and get into the à la carte restaurants. The QR code does not work. You can call guest relations but can only book 2 nights in advance so you spend your time constantly having to remember to call to book. This wouldn’t be so bad if the buffet was varied but it isn’t. The food in à la carte is lovely but as a gust you should be able to get into a restaurant each night. Rooms amazing. Staff incredible, can’t do enough for you. Pools and entertainment 5 out of 5. I will be back but PLEASE sort the à la carte booking out! Husband needed urgent medication and was able to get it within 15 mins which was incredible.. so sad I can’t give you a 5
