Upon arrival the hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from Sharm airport and looks stunning both externally and internally. The rooms themselves are well appointed and very clean. The amenities cover everything though be aware that the mini bar is chargeable and does state this very clearly and reminded when you check in. There are three main pools. Pool one is the quiet one, pool two has the music and the day activities and pool three is adults only. What was amazing is that any point during the day there were plenty of available sun beds and no one was ‘reserving’ them. Rather than have to go to the bar there is a drinks trolley that comes around regularly. The grounds are well maintained throughout. The beach is clean and rubbish free and totally private and only once did any ‘lucky lucky’ people appear to sell bracelets. Be aware that due to the location it is prone to winds which meant during our whole weeks stay they had the red flags up so we could not snorkel at any point from the pier which was disappointing. There were also a number of buildings under renovation and whilst the works were carried out during the day it wasn’t overly intrusive. Food wise - each day had a wide and varied selection of food and whilst not always to our taste we still felt everyone could get a good amount of food from the selection. The food is presented well and descriptions by all including allergen and gluten information. Some of the food under heat lamps doesn’t stay hot but other than that it is fine. Staff wise we never encountered anyone who was rude or awkward in fact far from it. We were made to feel very welcome by all of the staff and whilst we can’t mention everyone there are a few Special mentionst: Janyar based in guest relations who was absolutely fantastic and was so helpful through out our stay answering any questions or queries that we had during the stay. Mahmoud, cleaning block 2D, was an absolute sweetheart and made sure everything was clean at every stage. He worked incredibly hard the whole time. Ralf Schink - director of culinary we asked if he had any mango and he ensured some was sent to our room but also our lunch table. Rabab - affectionately known as the juice girl. She always and I mean always had a smile no matter what time of the day. Walaa again another wonderful soul who always made us feel very welcome in the bar. Negatives: When we arrived they had allocated my mother in law a second floor room, we had forgotten to include that she had mobility issues. They stated they could not move her even though the hotel appeared to have only around 50% full capacity. The next day they said they could change to an identical room one floor lower however it would cost an extra €30 per night. How and why? Did not make sense. After we stated that was unethical the manager stepped in and agreed to change the room. The rooms also have very limited plug sockets available and no USB/USBC sockets which is frustrating. Secondly the taxi service, described as a limousine (actually only a basic Toyota Corolla) service, seems to have varying prices. At first a trip to old town was €60, then increased to €80 then suddenly €120! When we stated they could provide two cars for a total of €72 and their pricing didn’t make sense the said we don’t make the prices. We did use their service one day but as the driver thought nearly 100mph and narrowly avoiding a camel as safe we decided to use their local taxi app service which was far safer and much cheaper with prices agreed in advance of your booking - similar uber. I would also suggest that recycling within the rooms is encouraged - so much plastic, paper and glass is used within the hotels. Whilst they have recycling bins in the grounds they do not have them in the room which is a disappointment. Lastly we felt that it was unclear what drinks were available and what they could make cocktails wise at the bars. Apparently all of the bars should have displayed a menu but only one did. Also what snacks available at what bar - again it wasn’t very clear. Overall a quiet relaxing hotel that with a few tweaks could be almost perfect.
Overall the holiday was good but i don't like the minibar is not free.. at check out i pay 50 dollars just for jus...and in first day they tell you only restaurant with pay is japanese, but amoura also. have food with money and in all restaurants a la carte in menu are show the price (chaos in people mind)
Resort was amazing with good facilities however food options were quite minimal.
