The biggest and best thing about this hotel is sun bed availability. The hotel is full but I have came out each day between 10 and 11 and got 4 sunbeds at the pool. Without any hassle. The rooms are clean and have a kitchen with full size fridge and small freezer which is handy when half board. Food is pretty standard but nothing bad. Had better had worse. There is a back path to a proper supermarket which is great. But the hotel is up a steep hill which can be a pain. It’s also at the far side of the town so if you want to go to the marina it’s a taxi journey. The hotel put up free transfers if you book through them. Entertainment each night is not great. But I’m here for the sun so not complaining. The staff all good cleaners are very friendly as are the kids team shout out to Stephi.
Stayed here 17th - 24th August we had two family rooms/studios 7th floor. Friendly staff throughout and a very clean hotel. Very good choice of food breakfast and evening meal. We used the snack bar at lunch time and was a good selection and was included in the AI. Drinks also not to bad selection included as well as ice creams for the kids and so on. The hotel entertainment team probably make this hotel what it is and they work extremely hard during the day and night and Beny the tiger was always around. This is a family/kids hotel and all the English we met were very friendly and not like some of the English you meet elsewhere on occasion everyone was decent. Ok some of the bits that annoyed me and or could be improved. First of all I think the hotel is a bit dated decor wise and throughly needs a bit of tlc and some investment. The lack of air con in comical areas/lifts wasn’t great and is a big thing for me. Rooms comfortable and bathroom ok but again needs a refurb and modernisation. Please remove the oven fridge sink it’s very dated and most people don’t want that anymore you could make so much more modern with that space I found that a bit rubbish and did t like it when I booked it nearly booked elsewhere as big turn off. Lifeguards - whoever is telling them to enforce rules please lighten up if the kids want to play with a ball or a small inflatable or jump in then show some common sense. I did have to remind the lifeguard this was a family hotel pool and first couple days I was regretting staying here and worried we would all not enjoy it. Bit it got better they relaxed a bit and the day time activities made the pool more fun. But again people will just book elsewhere if behave like that. Biggest issue lack of air con in the communal some of the lounge areas as I said. Would I come back if asked me first day or two - no. But after this we enjoyed the stay and if the hotel invested into improving facilities then yes I would mainly as the food was good and entertainment staff good. Also - towels just issue towel cards when check in not take money as a deposit again dates practises. I was going to give them a 3 star as I feel the hotel is a 3 star hotel but the staff and other bits I’ve felt generous and moved it to a 4 star experience for our stay. Coleman 708/714 (oh the foam pool party was liked by the kids and adults)
